Dear Friend,

A very warm welcome to you. Let me give you a brief background of our church before you browse and visit our website! This site will provide you with details of activities and ministries that are going on in the church.

Marine Parade Christian Centre is a family church in the Anglican Diocese of Singapore. It started in a home fellowship through the church-planting endeavor of Revd Canon James Wong in February 1976. Through God’s faithfulness, the church grew and attained parish status in 1991. By God’s providence, He has given us our current place of worship at 100 Tembeling Road.

Indeed the word which the Lord gave to the leadership in Isaiah 54:2-3 NIV has come to pass. “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left …”.

God continues to be faithful and currently we have 3 ethnic congregations, English, Chinese and Filipino. Many exciting things are happening in our midst and you are most welcome to join us.

It is our prayers and desire that MPCC will continue to be salt and light as God’s church in the community of Joo Chiat and Katong. May God richly bless you.
